Bow inspired!

I love Luella. I love all her shows. The veiled net hair bows from this seasons catwalk collection are no exception. Shopping on Saturday, I binged in Topshop, on the accessories, not the clothes, at the moment there's just nothing that is thrilling me. Anyway, I did come across a pink netted hair bow that is uncannily similar to Luella's. I'm having dinner and drinks with friends at Mahiki tomorrow evening and what better opportunity to bust out the bow. Yes I just said 'bust'. I'm going to go for the quiff too and (trickily) cover over the net. Maybe abit too much for the office, but come half 5 and it won't matter! I've looked towards these pics for some inspiration. If I wasn't going somewhere so dressy I would add my multi layered pearl necklace to add abit of fun, but I'll save that for another day. For tomorrow, I'm going to team it with my new black jumpsuit and matching pink nailpolish, don't quite know what shoes yet...

I love luella too! I might invest in some sort of veiled hair bow - they look really fun to wear :) x

This collection would make a great dressing up theme, Luella taken to extremes. Are you pattern cutting for your placement year? I'm on the hunt for one in London as well...

Yeah it's for my placement year! I really like it! It's not the obvious career choice in fashion...still not sure what I want to do after it though, decisions decisions! Oh and the Hussein Chalayan exhib is fabulous! I went to see it opening weekend...I should really put up some pics...but I did go before I started my blog! The East End Thrift Store is also a treat....enjoy!

Frock Around The Clock....the bow and veil went down really well...in the office and out at night....surprisingly with the guys! I backcombed my hair alot so it was quite big and shoved the slide in the back of it and pulled the lace over the quiff towards my face! Recommended! :) x
